Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.bestbuddyroofing.com (the “Site”) and, where noted, the provision of roofing services by KDiepraam LLC DBA Best Buddy Roofing (“Best Buddy Roofing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

We provide residential and commercial roofing services in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas, including inspections, repairs, replacements, re-roof projects, emergency tarping, gutters, and related work.

Estimates, Pricing, and Payments

Free estimates: Site visits and written estimates are provided at no charge.
Quotes: Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. Hidden or unforeseen conditions may require a change order.
No deposit: We do not require an upfront payment.
Payments: Payment is due as stated on the invoice upon substantial completion, unless another schedule is agreed in writing. Late balances may incur reasonable administrative or statutory charges as allowed by law.

Change Orders and Extras

If work outside the original scope is required (for example, decking replacement discovered after tear-off), we will issue a written change order describing the additional work and price. Work proceeds after written approval.

Insurance Claims

For insurance-related jobs, our team can assist with documentation, scope review, and supplements. You are responsible for any deductible and non-covered items. Final scope and payment are ultimately determined by your insurer; we are not responsible for an insurer’s coverage decisions.

Scheduling and Delays

Roofing work is weather-dependent and subject to material availability and site access. Start and completion dates are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by: severe weather, supply-chain issues, unforeseen site conditions, utility interruptions, labor shortages, permitting or inspections, or events outside our control. You agree to provide reasonable access to the property, including clear driveways, access to power, and safe work areas.

Materials & Substitutions

If specified materials become unavailable, we may offer equivalent alternatives of similar quality and performance for your approval.

Warranties

Workmanship: We provide a workmanship warranty on completed work. The warranty terms and duration are stated on your invoice or separate warranty document given at completion.
Manufacturer warranties: Roofing products may carry manufacturer warranties. We will provide product documentation and assist with registration where applicable.
Exclusions: Normal wear, storm damage, impact, improper maintenance, alterations by others, and issues unrelated to our work are not covered.

Site Content and Use

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, and logos, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use Site content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” for general information. We try to keep information accurate and current, but errors may occur. Nothing on the Site is professional engineering advice; engage a licensed professional if required for your project.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability for claims arising out of the Site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

Dispute Resolution; Governing Law

You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally with us.
If not resolved, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Harris County, Texas, before a single arbitrator under applicable rules. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
